Amanda Backe, DPT, CSCS
Amanda completed her undergraduate studies in Exercise Science at Salem State University where she was the starting goalkeeper for the women’s varsity soccer team. Upon graduating, she returned as the team’s goalkeeper coach and worked as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist for middle school, high school, and NCAA Div. I-III athletes.
Amanda went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Tufts University where she had the opportunity to work directly with Villanova University athletics.
Most recently, she participated an intensive Sports PT Residency program, gaining hands-on experience in the Northeastern University training room and MGH Sports PT clinic, where she provided specialized care for athletes. Her clinical interests include injury prevention and strength sports.
When she is not in the clinic, you can find Amanda pushing her limits in the gym with CrossFit, hiking in the mountains, or paddleboarding on the water.
